In the woodpecker family, the flickers attractive plummage have made them one of my favorites to get just right. This mug features two flickers seemingly in conversation.
This piece was created from a wheel thrown body, finished with hand painting, sculpted and carved accents. Color is layered throughout the making process at every stage in order to achieve a lively depth in the surface.
Gold luster accented.
Clear glazed on the inside.
Hand wash only. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
Measure about 4.25” high by 4.47” wide with handle.
