FAQ
When will my package ship?
I ship out once a week usually on Thursdays. Once your package is moving you will receive tracking. Most packages are shipped via USPS or UPS, with 2-4 day shipping.
What to do if an item is delivered and it is damaged?
I take utmost care in wrapping packages to prevent breaking- and have very little breakage- NO breaks this year so far in fact! There is however always the chance that an item can be broken during shipping. If this happens please contact me as soon as possible. All of my work ships UPS or USPS insured. I will require that you take a picture of the break in the package, to be submitted to the shipping company for refund. I will then offer you a replacement or refund.
Registry Inquiries
I would be honored to create pieces in commemoration of your special day. Pieces may currently be selected from the Marbled Collection, Kitchen and Dining, and Birch Collection. Making times for registry items are typically 2-3 months. For more information, direct inquiries to TwinettePoterie@gmail.com.
I have a coupon to your shop- are there any exceptions?
Coupons maybe used on any pieces in the shop- except for work which is MADE TO ORDER or ON SALE- unless otherwise noted.
Can I use my new pieces in the dishwasher?
Most pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. If your piece has gold luster accents- then you should treat it like your grandmothers dinner set- and hand wash, no microwave because its metallic & will spark. See individual listings for more details.
You may hand wash pieces as in extra precaution to extend the life of the piece.
I live in St Charles- can I pick up my purchases from you to avoid shipping?
Select LOCALPICKUP at check out to waive shipping and pick your pieces up from my St Charles, IL studio. I’ll arrange pick up with you post check out. Thanks!
Why does the shipping seem high?
Shipping delicate ceramics is something I have become pretty good at- I have very little breakage. This is because I take every precaution in getting my items to you, safe and sound.
Every item is cozily wrapped in layers of eco-friendly packaging, with a couple inches around the piece of fill- so packages are larger than when shipping less breakable items. Pottery also tends to be a bit heavier to ship.
I try to keep my shipping costs as reasonable as possible, but shipping ceramics simply incurs higher costs. Thanks for understanding.
**In the event of significant shipping/packaging overage, customer will be refunded the difference**
