My newest style of mug is an exploration in simplicity of form - the body of the mug is a wheel thrown cylinder with a handle which is pulled directly from the body of the mug and adhered to the bottom with a firm push from my fingers. This creates a folksy feeling for these floral painted mugs with nods to a vintage- mid-century modern inspiration.
Each mug is uniquely painted- this piece has a nutmeg glazed background and interior. The abstract floral is a mint pastel and rusted red glaze that feathers into warmer tones.
Holds about 20 oz
Handle is large enough for a comfortable four finger hold.
