Limited Print: Volcano: Mount Saint Helens (TWO OFFERS)

The Print of the Week- Available from April 19-26. First release- never offered before publicly. 

Surprise- There is a choice of two prints this week. Order one or both!

The reason being is that these were originally created as a diptych- two pieces that mirror each other but are unique on their own.

I am offering fine art prints of the piece, titled, 'Volcano: Mount Saint Helens' , 2012 which is a more traditional rendering of the volcano. This piece is in blue tones, off set by a warm background color. 

 I am also offering 'Volcano: Mount Saint Helens Bouquet Eruption' 2012. This piece is in burnt orange and bright blue tones. It shows a surrealist bouquet of flowers erupting from this iconic volcano. 

The most recent time Mount Saint Helens (in Washington State) erupted was in 1980.

These two pieces are part of a small series of volcano depictions. They attempt to capture the ungraspable quality of smoke. They explore our differing perceptions, even when presented with the same reality. An innocent version of this would be cloud gazing and seeing different forms emerge. 

This piece was created using air brush and graphite.  You may choose from a natural or a black wood frame. The mat will be cream,  2.5" around the piece.  

Printed to order on an archival matte fine art paper. I am offering this piece in original sizing- 6.5"w x 16" h. Please refer to the first and second pictures for the most accurate rendering of the prints, and make sure the brightness on your monitor is turned all the way up for the most accurate representation of the print you will receive.

Choose Frame- natural toned or black wood frame is offered, or print alone

*Note that the photo of the piece in the black frame is my original- the black frame offered here is thinner, like the natural wood frame in the photo preceding

6.5" x 16" prints are 13.25" x 20" including the frame

They are backed with kraft paper and ready to hang 

Please choose if you would like the acrylic glass over top with your frame- I enjoy the natural texture of the piece without the glare from the glass, but a glass will cover and protect the piece. There is no upcharge to include the glass

To preserve your print, please keep away from direct sunlight

You will be mailed separately a signed certificate of authenticity to adhere to the back of your framed piece, or to keep with the print
