These accomplish the task of keeping olive oil protected from sunlight and air with degrade the product, and add a classic touch to a home cook's kitchen.
The cruet is accented with an olive branch sculpture which I designed and made into a mold- once the sculpture is joined to the wheel thrown bottle, it is finished with hand carved accents.
Porcelain clay.
The cobalt glaze leaves evidence of brush marks variegating the surface. Finish on outside is matte. Glossy white glaze sealing the inside.
Features a an indented thumb print for easy grasping.
