Cardinals are a sign that spring has begun in my area. Here they are painted as a flash of crimson amongst the ripening sweet mulberry.
This piece was created from a wheel thrown body with added sculptural elements. Color is layered throughout the making process at every stage in order to achieve a lively depth in the surface.
Gold luster accented.
Blushed blue on the inside.
Hand wash only. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
