A unique piece that is hand built using an imprinted slab of clay to capture the texture of spring cabbage leaves. The rim and pedestal is added using a coiling technique.
These pieces were constructed using techniques I've learned over the years, and it was refreshing (although very slow to make !) to create without the use of the electric wheel.
Allow for some variation between pieces, and due to movement, some tip ever so slightly.
Glazed with a classic umber glaze which has some variation.
