Planter Pot with Amaryllis Kits are Back!
If you have followed my work for a bit, you probably know that I enjoy plants and gardening. By no means an expert, I tend to be happy with what happens in the garden. At the end of the season the dry stalks of zinnia, powdery leaves and raked-over seed pods are felled. The nasturtium hang on until the first good snow. The garage is filled with pots holding dahlia tubers, dormant and resting.
Now my house plants will get some extra love, fertilizer, soil aeration and watering. While thinking about these coming cold months, flowers came to mind. Amaryllis bulbs are easy to grow, festive, and much more unusual and striking than poinsettia.
I decided then and there to make planters specifically for this bulb, and offer them as kits with everything you need, so that I can bring my love of flowers and plants to you too- these flower in 12-14ish weeks during the coldest months of the year.
Planters will be nature themed- with swan medallions, heron and a few with humming birds and other painted song birds. Prices will vary based on decorative level of the pot. Choice of Amaryllis bulb, in limited quantities will be:
- Naranja- joyful orange
- Red Lion- festive and bold and saturated
- Picotee- delicately hued with spring green, white and lined petals in a red/pink.
I'm very excited to share these with you. I've enjoyed the process of throwing these from 7 pounds of clay, and the resulting large blank slate they afford for decoration. The weight and heft of the pot will make for a stunning show when the amaryllis are in bloom, and keep those long stalks and big flowers anchored..
Amaryllis kits will only be shipped within the continental US due to live plant. I recommend planting immediately, but may be stored in a cool dry & dark area with light ventilation.

There will be other pots in the update as well- color themes are soft matte pastels with punches of cobalt.
