Spring Offerings - Birds and Pinched Pottery

Spring Offerings - Birds and Pinched Pottery

I'm presenting art works from 2025 segmented by category below:

If you would like to explore the connections between these pieces throughout the making process, and learn more about my thoughts as these were made, please reference the preview journal post here.

I was searching for a new reinterpretation of how I presented my birds- and here it is:

Coil and Pinch pots bring me much joy and contemplations- we have had several classes this year in this vein and the extra boon of it all is that I got to spend more time with this form of creation; I hope you enjoy these mood-setting pieces.

I do not often mention it, but my first and longest love and form of expression has been painting. The scales have long shifted to pottery making, a medium that extracts my attention with a process that requires so much setting aside, allowing clay to dry, coming back and such. But I have made a bit of time for painting this year, and I hope to carve a bit more in the coming months.

Thank you for stopping by and supporting my work, it means the world to me, to be able to create art, and have folks connect to it. I hope you enjoyed.
