As a species we have taken extreme lengths to alter our environments, treating fellow animals and habitats as things and raw materials from which to mine, log, and exploit, leaving the earth pock marked and scarred. The further we buy into this thinking, that all will be ok in the end, living within concrete walls and curated lawns, treated against the diversity of nature.
